Mike Beck Horsemanship Clinic

I keep the clinic small so I have a real chance of working with each horse and person.

 

2 day horsemanship clinic. Sat. & Sun. April 7th. and 8th. 10am start.....try to finish up by 5:30, 6:00 pm.

Not a colt starting clinic but I will help someone prepare their young horse for riding.

Any problems with handling I can help people with. Improving riding, getting horses to walk out , collection, ...horses that run off, get built up, mixed up...unsureness...whatever, I can help them.

Access to a round corral, panels, ..that is helpful as I can get alot done working a horse loose.

 

there is a one hour or less lunch break.

I want the people there with their horse to be able to stay the whole day, both days, to watch me work with the other horses and riders. This is very helpful to them.

Questions from everyone, riders, spectators, are welcome and encouraged.

I'm trying to share an approach to the horse and how he puts things together, that was shared with me by Tom and Bill Dorrance, mixed with my experiences.

 

Limited to 6 horses. I work with 3 in the morning and 3 after lunch.

Fees are 225. for horse and rider for 2 days of help

Spectators are 25. per day to watch

Mike returns to the Martin Hotel in Winnemucca Nevada in the middle of The Sagebrush Sea!

A great Basque restaurant with a wonderful performing venue in the back room. This show is not to be missed, or the food, yikes!! you're crazy if you don't eat here! Put on by The Great Basin Arts and Entertainment. See ya there!
