There's good Mexican food here in Austin...flew in yesterday to play some guitar with my friends from Montana..Kenny Williams, Tess and Brian....they picked me up at the airport and we went right to a gig..outside gig, on a deck...nice and warm evening...marbel falls texas....nice people who like good music and know the difference..i will be here a few days ..play a few gigs..and looks like some horse work too while I'm here. But the Mexican food..cheap and soooo good...!
Everyone's awful nice here...Texas seems to have a music scene like no other....why..? well that's a good question...but it seems like all the little towns have a dance hall .a theatre...kinda cool......mabey someone else has some kinda idea why there is this music scene here...if ya know some secret..let's hear it!

I think it will turn out to be an awesome danceparty..I think the last time we played was Baja Cantina and it was so cool for us to see so many folks there..new people that came to hear us..that was amazing...I hope you all come and bring a friend, the more the crazier they say...
We're working on a plan to play more, get Tom out here more, play in some other places on the central coast...spread the love round...mabey you have an idea about where we should bring it. How bout a party you want to host?? We want to hear from you.. We come to play!!

I had a great time on the music and horses tour...Grass Valley..the Tin House...KVMR radio..Roost House in carmel valley...Fiddler's Crossing in Tehacapi...The Spyder Ranch and the horses there and the dogs and the BIG STEERS..beautiful snow in Arizona...Wickenburg , where Scott Simpson my old horseshoein' teacher from MSU lives, Mike Thomas took me to meet Buddy who's riding horses for the public and doin' a fine job...Maricopa, Nancy and Wes...amazing countryside...I know there's so much more...but mostly all the new friends along the way.
It's a great thing to get out and play the songs for new fans..to look out and see people mouth the words to "Patrick"...amazing. Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows...I look forward to seeing you all again..!

When I get to town I will play a few tunes on KVMR..the local radio station that has a KPIG vibe to it..even a few DJ's from the old KFAT days have lander there....I will be on the air at 4:30pm pst.
